Casual Update

Song of the Day: Cee-Lo Green - Fuck You

I made a second blog, for my more serious thoughts. If you're interested, its here: The Mountain That Is Life

Its been a hard, annoying day so I'm gonna go drink whiskey and watch "The Shield".

Successful Night

Song of the Day: Dr Dre - Forgot about Dre

If you're like me, and enjoy bizarre-ness and drawings, go check out The Invisible Hair Suit's comics.
Heres a few of my favourites:
Where Old People Go
A Vision
Lying Arthur

I wrote up a spiel on the Yin and Yang symbol and how it shows the short-sightedness in modern religions, but I feel its a bit too serious for this blog. I might make a separate blog for all the serious stuff I wanna post, watch this space.

I found a whole load of funny images, enough for a week; success!

Dark Post

Song of the Day: The Bloody Beetroots - Warp 1977 (feat. Steve Aoki and Boberman)

I was feeling creative today, so jotted down this little piece of misery:

And my greatest disease is letting the passion of the tongue control the passion of the mind.
It makes me slow and weak, shortsighted and gives me the unease of knowing this burden will be my death.
And the only way to cure it is to rip apart myself. Rip apart me and fling my cancers to the wind and yell "Enough!"
And keep doing it day after day until the pain numbs. And I'm half the man I used to be.
But which organ do I tear first?

It's good feeling creative, I just wish I knew how to get into that "creative zone" more often. Any ideas?

Check out today's Song of the Day, its dark and dancey (a strange combination but it seems to work).

Kung Fu

Song of the Day: Frank Zappa - The Torture Never Stops

I just watched the movie Ip Man. Its the story of Ip Man(or Yip Man), the Wing Chun fighter who later become Bruce Lee's Trainer/Master. The fight scenes are amazing and there are bouts of humour to lighten the mood. It's the best Kung Fu film I've seen since Ong Bak.
Ip Man 2 is out in video rental stores and I've been told its even better than Ip Man 1, I can't wait to see it.

More info on the Ip Man movie.
Fight scene from the movie. Ip Man vs 10 Japanese Martial Artists

Know any good Kung Fu films I should see? Please leave a comment.

Since it's Saturday, todays image is a cat:

Monty Python

Song of the Day: Sit on my Face

The song of the day is from my favourite comedy group, Monty Python. Lyrics to the song:

Sit on my face and tell me that you love me
I'll sit on your face and tell you I love you, too
I love to hear you oralize
When I'm between your thighs
You blow me away

Sit on my face and let my lips embrace you
I'll sit on your face and then I'll love you truly
Life can be fine if we both sixty-nine
If we sit on our faces in all sorts of places
And play, 'til we're blown away

Whats your favourite Monty Python skit? or, your favourite comedy routine ever (unrelated to Monty Python)?

An oldie but a goodie (open for best viewing):
